The assault caused the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

Two more people are now in custody related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, two women were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the injured in the event. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and were later discharged.

Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were alerted at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - an event that police said was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
